MECC (Minnesota Educational Computer Consortium) was one of the first and most prolific software educational programmers and distributors.  Take a look at some of the early educational video games.


Here is a retrospective from 1996 on Oregon Trail.  What characteristics do you identify with that made these games fun?  This will come in handy later with your assignment.
